Creative Director and Founder
Luke is the founder and creative force behind Young&Creative, bringing over 22 years of experience in the design industry.
He has worked with some of New Zealand’s most recognised franchises and corporate brands, helping them stand out with smart, strategic design.
A specialist in building brands that work in the real world, he knows how to balance creativity with practicality—ensuring every project not only looks great but also delivers results. His hands-on approach and deep industry knowledge drive Young&Creative’s success, and his commitment to quality keeps clients coming back.

Selina Young
Business Director
Selina is Young&Creative’s Business Director. She is also the Marketing Manager for Red LBP, having supported them with their incredible growth to becoming New Zealand’s largest property inspections franchise in four short years.
With 10 years of experience seeing the process behind building brands from the agency side, Selina has developed a sharp eye for detail and a sense of style to know ‘what looks the goods’.
Her previous experience in supply chain, dealing with global product suppliers and New Zealand’s largest retailers, combined with her hands on experience with marketing and social media gives Young&Creative’s clients added confidence about connecting creativity with business success.
Cat Des Baux
Senior Graphic Designer
With over a decade of experience in graphic design across agency, in-house, and freelance roles, Cat is a creative problem-solver who blends strategy with design. She has led brand refreshes, developed packaging and marketing materials, and crafted compelling visual identities for businesses in both local and international markets. Her expertise spans print, digital, display, social media, and websites, ensuring cohesive and impactful brand communications.

Joel Young
Web and Digital Media Developer
Joel is the technical specialist at Young&Creative, from developing and managing client websites with a focus on functionality, user experience, and performance, he also oversees email marketing and automation, ensuring seamless digital communication that drives engagement.
Beyond web development, Joel brings expertise in video production, motion graphics, and all-round technical support for both our team and clients. Whether he’s troubleshooting, optimising, or creating, his problem-solving mindset and attention to detail keep projects running smoothly.
Buddy
Happiness and Snack Time Manager
Buddy takes his role at Young&Creative very seriously—whether it’s keeping the team in check, chasing the sun in strategic office locations, and ensuring his mama’s round the clock safety and security.
As our self-appointed happiness manager, he’s always on hand for a well-timed head tilt or an unimpressed stare when deadlines are looming. When he’s not supervising, you’ll find him perfecting the art of the power nap or subtly reminding everyone that snack breaks should be more frequent.
